MEKIA COX After graduating Florida State University with a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre Mekia toured the country with “Fame” and “Smokey Joe’s Cafe.” Mekia then set her sights on Hollywood where she was cast in “One Tree Hill”, “CSI:NY”, “Half & Half” & “Bones.” In 2009, Mekia worked alongside the Legendary King of Pop, Michael Jackson, as one of his lead dancers in the tour turned movie “This Is It”. Not too long after, she earned the recurring role of Sasha on CW’s 90210. From there she went on to work with director J.J. Abrams and producer Josh Reims as a series regular on the NBC series “Undercovers,”and with three- time Academy Award nominee Frank Darabont in TNT’s "Mob City".
She's most recently been seen as Amanda Warner on Secrets and Lies on ABC as well as Robin Charles on Chicago Med on NBC. Other TV and Film credits include "Impastor", “Gotham”, “Key & Peele”, “Almost Human”, “Leverage”, “Common Law”, “Necessary Roughness”, “The Mentalist”, “Battlefield America” and “Crazy, Stupid, Love”. Over the years Mekia has gained insight into the entertainment industry and is now happy to share her experience with others through directing and producing original works with the Little Man Productions team. |
MIKE EVARISTE has been in the entertainment business for the past decade serving as an entertainer and producer. As a performer he was last seen on Broadway in Amazing Grace. Other Broadway credits are the Broadway Revivals of Tony Award winning South Pacific produced by Lincoln Center Theatre, Les Miserables, and Tony Award winning Revival of Hair. He has performed across the country with the National Touring Companies of Tony Award winning musicals The Book of Mormon, South Pacific, Hair, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Fame and Rent. NY Workshops/Readings: Upcoming Broadway-bound Bull Durham: The Musical written by Ron Shelton, Untitled Elton John Musical, Motown the Musical. Mike is a Tony Nominated Producer on the Tony Nominated and 2013 Pulitzer Prize winning Broadway play Disgraced. For television Mike was the Creator and Executive Producer of "Arsenic 9", a non-scripted pilot created for The Sundance Channel in association with Big Fish Entertainment. His film producing credits are Pass the Light and upcoming Construction. A graduate of The Juilliard School’s Music Advancement Program and a Bachelor of Music in Music Theatre from Florida State University, Mike continues to bridge the gap between business and entertainment. |
TIFFANY EVARISTE is a BFA musical theatre graduate of Florida State University currently in the hit Broadway show Aladdin. Tiffany was last seen as Mary Wilson in the hit Broadway show Motown The Musical. Other Broadway credits include: Mary Poppins, Leap of Faith, and Memphis. She's also toured the country with the Broadway National Tours of Mary Poppins, All Shook Up, Smokey Joe's Café, and Fame. Tiffany was a back up dancer for acclaimed European pop star Mylene Farmer in her Bercy Paris Concert. She was also thrilled to have performed on The Tony Awards with the casts of Memphis and Leap of Faith. With her husband Mike Evariste, Tiffany is excited about producing more theatrical events on both coasts and couldn't be happier to be collaborating with her best friends at Vision Vehicle Prods and Little Man Prods on this project. |
VICTOR HAWKS Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Victor Hawks made his way out East after high school to Washington DC, where he attended The Catholic University of America for Musical Theatre. Directly from college, he wanted to tackle the big stage so he moved to New York City. In a short time he booked his first Broadway show, joining the original company of Urinetown the Musical. From there he made Broadway his home for the next 10 years starring in shows like the Producers, playing the dream role of Jean Val Jean in Les Miserables, and playing Stewpot in the Tony Award winning revival of South Pacific at Lincoln Center.
Although Victor has a true love for the stage, his true passion has always existed in writing TV/ and Film. Under the umbrella of Vision Vehicle productions, Victor wrote and produced Vision Vehicle's 1st film called “Construction” soon to be released in 100 theaters, and their 2nd film “Pass The Light,” which was released nationwide Feb. 6th, 2015. He is currently writing and developing over 8 films and 12 TV pilots. |
DETRA HICKS got her BFA degree in Acting from Florida State University and a J.D. from Emory University School of Law. Prior to attending Law School, she worked with actors, writers and producers to develop a three dimensional understanding of the film industry. While attending Emory, Detra continued working with artists, aiding them with various intellectual property needs. Detra has worked for prominent Hollywood producers helping to guide several independent movies through pre and post production. Detra’s focus in the arts has provided her with the opportunity to co-found Little Man Productions, LLC, a production company that develops and produces new plays and films that are relevant and compelling.
